We have several groups who use our facility during the week.
  • The Elephant Mountain Sangha uses the sanctuary on Thursday mornings, 8:00 AM, for gathering and meditation. Their practice follows the tradition of Vietnamese Zen monk Thich Nhat Hanh. Contact Laura Alderdice, alderdicelaura@gmail.com for more information. “Breathing in, I calm my body. Breathing out I smile. Dwelling in the present moment, I know this is a wonderful moment.Thich Nhat Hanh
    • The Heart of Compassion Sangha, an affiliate of Everyday Zen, led by Norman Fischer, meets every Friday from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM. All are welcome, beginners and experienced meditators. Our gathering includes a thirty-minute silent meditation, and a dharma talk by Jaune Evans; a guest speaker, or Sangha member, and oftentimes, conversations in small groups.
